Dialup GCCCD using Windows XP
  1. Right-click on the Internet Explorer icon.
  2. Left-click on Properties from the mini-menu that appears.
  3. When the Internet Properties dialog box appears, click on the Connections tab.
  4. Click the Setup below shown below.

  1. Now you will get a Wizard to walk you through the connection.

  1. Take the default and click Next to continue.

  1. Make sure to select the middle option where you will manually set up this connection, then click Next to continue.

  1. Since we are dealing with a Dial-up connection, make sure the first option is selected and then click Next.

  1. Now you need to give the connection a name. I already entered "GCCCD".

  1. The next screen involves entering our dialup phone number. We do not publish this number. Please call the Help Desk, x7547 to obtain the number.

  1. Please check the following option.

  1. Add gcccdedu\first.last
  1. Click Next to continue.

  1. That’s it. Click Finish to create the connection.

  1. You should now be back to your Desktop. Double-click Internet Explorer and you should be able to connect with GCCCD. Happy Surfing!
