The Information Systems department is where help is just a phone call away by contacting our Help Desk. Remember, there are different Help Desk phone numbers depending upon whether you are a Instructional or Administrative customer.

If you are looking for help with Microsoft Office, please check the How to's site which has specific tutorials related to this subject area. There are a few other tutorials for Outlook, Word and accessing web email.

Make sure to download the latest McAfee virus protection software by going to the secured Computer Virus Information web site. If you are an employee of the GCCCD system, you can download this software and install it on your home PC or Mac. Make sure to choose the correct platform for your personal computer. This is a secure site and requires a user to log into the web site. This is just like accessing your web email.

Also available for your home computer is software which can be purchased at a substantial discount through the district's agreement with Southland Technology, Inc.   Titles covered under the agreement include the latest versions of Microsoft Windows, Office Pro for Windows or Macintosh, and FrontPage.  Click Software for Home use to see details.
