Spring semester starts Jan. 23

     Spring semester begins with the start of regular day and evening classes on Monday, Jan. 23,  at Grossmont and Cuyamaca colleges.

     At the Grossmont campus, a Week of Welcome, or WOW, activities are planned, including information booths to help get students oriented, music and giveaways, an open house for the Associated Students of Grossmont College, Inc., and the tutoring center, plus an introduction to the career center and student employment services, and more.

     Cuyamaca College is also welcoming back students with tables set up from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 23 and 10 am. to 11:30 a.m. by Associated Students to get students involved in campus orgnaizations and to inform them of events and programs that are planned for the semester. Spirit Night 2012 will feature a free student tailgate event from 4:30 to 5 p.m. in the upper lot just before  the start of the 5 p.m. men's basketball game against MiraCosta College. Grossmont College is at 8800 Grossmont College Drive in El Cajon. Cuyamaca College is at 900 Rancho San Diego Parkway in the community of Rancho San Diego.
