Your First Vineyard

Continuing education is offering a summer course in "Your First Vineyard" at Cuyamaca College. Classes are being held from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Mondays from June 11 through July 2.

Are you interested in learning about planting and growing your own vineyard? This course will take you through the steps of evaluation your property and deciding how to lay out a vineyard, how much of the land can be planted, how many rows you can have and the best direction to plant them, what variety of grapes are appropriate for your site, and a budget to develop the site, including purchasing and planting of vines, and what to expect the first two to three years.
