The Grossmont College Adult Reentry Center is hosting "Your Passport to the Future," an orientation designed for new, returning and continuing adult students who have had a break in their formal education or who have circumstances that require an update of skills or career transition. The event will be held Tuesday, Aug. 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Building 34, Room 107 at Grossmont College.
The event will provide prospective students with an overview of the training opportunities and support available to them at Grossmont College.
The orientations will feature a peer panel discussion from former Grossmont College reentry students and brief presentations from the following offices:
Student Services: Adult Reentry Center; ASGC, Inc., (Associated Students); Career Center; Disabled Student Programs & Services; EOPS (Extended Opportunity Programs and Services)/CARE and Cal Works; Financial Aid; Learning Technology Resource Center and Instructional and Technology Resources; Student Employment Services; Tutoring; Veterans Affairs; and Allied Health
Instructional Programs: OPT (Office Professional Training); Career and Technical Education
Admissions and Records: Online application process; registration procedures.
