Continuing education is offering a class entitled "Attaining Optimum Health" in partnership with the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation, 7890 Broadway, Lemon Grove. Classes will be held Tuesdays from 6:30 p.m. to 9:10 p.m. from September 25 to November 27 at the foundation office.
This course teaches students how to attain and maintain exceptional health while covering all aspects of health and nutrition. Students learn about numerous proteins, common and uncommon grains and sweeteners, healthy and unhealthy fats and oils, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products. The course will examine how health is affected by possible problems with our water and air, different diets, vitamins, minerals, herbs and other supplements.
Required course materials will be supplied by the Price-Pottenger Nutrition Foundation. Please contact the Price-Pottenger Foundation at (619) 462-7600 after your online registration is confirmed in order to pay your $25 materials fee. Fees must be paid before the first day of class.
