Some instructors require that you attend an on-campus orientation. Please check the Class Schedule for on-campus orientation dates. In addition, please find your instructor's web page listed in the directory for the class syllabus and more information about the class. Otherwise, you may use this online orientation to get started.
Once you are enrolled in an online class, an account will be generated for you to access Blackboard. In most cases, you may not access the course until the first day of school.

Online class materials and books are available from the Grossmont & Cuyamaca College Bookstores. Information about required class materials and text books are provided by the instructor. All class materials and textbooks, unless otherwise specified, are required for the first day of class.
The Blackboard Learn User Manual provides basic information on navigating through Blackboard and participating in courses. The manual includes information on customizing the appearance and content of the tabs, collaborating and communicating with others, and working within a course to complete assignments and tests.
