Lost and Found
The Lost and Found department on both the Grossmont and Cuyamaca
campuses receives found property through out the College District. Found
property is stored at the District Police offices on both campuses. To check
for lost property, visit the District Police office or call (619) 644-7654.
Employee Fingerprinting
All new district employees are required to submit
to a fingerprint check. New employees fingerprinting are conducted at the
District Police offices on both the Grossmont and Cuyamaca campuses.
Emergency Message
Occasionally, when a family emergency arises, a student or faculty
member needs to be contacted. Emergency messages are handled directly through
the Student Affairs office and the District Police handles the delivery of
emergency messages to a student or faculty member in a classroom in a
confidential manner.
Room Unlocks
Faculty and Staff members requiring entry to a classroom or office must
obtain authorization from the respective department in charge of the
classroom or office. Lab Assistants and students requiring entry to a
specific area must be listed in the authorization list from the respective
department. Room entry will not be permitted to anyone who is not listed in
the authorization list.
Safety Escort
The safety of all students, faculty and guests of the College District
is our primary concern. The District Police provides safety escorts to anyone
on District property who are in fear for their safety or who feel
uncomfortable walking alone to their vehicle, especially during evening
hours.
