| EMERGENCY RESPONSE: | |
| All faculty on duty during an emergency will follow standard safety procedures to ensure safe evacuation from classrooms and exit from the Cuyamaca property. | |
| As soon as possible, all faculty will contact their department dean to report their own status and to receive reports on the status of the classrooms. | |
| If the campus buildings are severely damaged and cannot be reentered, faculty will assist with the itemization of lost property and/or the salvage of retrievable equipment and supplies. | |
| The Senate President or designated representative will contact the Incident Commander, report the status of faculty and receive assignments for assistance to the emergency response and recovery efforts. A communication process between the Senate President, Department Deans and faculty will be set up to assist the relaying of status reports and daily information. | |
| Faculty will not enter any room or building that is posted with a red or yellow placard. Seek assistance from the Cuyamaca Campus Command Post staff on duty at the building for entry. | |
| Faculty with special skills who wish to volunteer for the campus response are to report to the Command Center. Faculty may be needed to assist with official liaison and media coordination. | |
| RECOVERY: | |
| Faculty will resume classes as instructed by the Chancellor. As soon as notification is given for classes to resume, faculty will begin preparing for the continuation of the education program. |
