Primary
Responsibilities:

  • Keeps the Incident Commander advised of issues and events
  • Serves as the point of contact for the Cuyamaca Campus to all outside agencies
  • Provides information to the District EOC and collects information from them

Support
Responsibilities:

  • Red Cross Sheltering Operations on-site

Supplies:

Telephone, Cellular Telephone

 

PROCEDURES TIME/DATE
EMERGENCY RESPONSE:  
Report to the Cc, to the Incident Commander. Initiate contacts with:
  • District EOC at the Grossmont Campus - Liaison Officer
  • Other agencies on site at the Cuyamaca Campus
 
Serve as the official liaison to city, county, state, federal government, other districts and agencies and the Red Cross on site at Cuyamaca, as designated by the Incident Commander.  
Verify the accuracy of the information to be relayed with the Incident Commander at the Cuyamaca Campus and/or the Public Information Officer. Refer public information announcement actions to the PIO.  
Forward information to everyone in the Cuyamaca Command Center. Keep the Incident Commander informed of events and actions by other agencies.  
Serve as the point of contact and a relay of information between Cuyamaca Campus and others, ensuring that all affected and impacted agencies are advised of Cuyamaca’s pertinent operations.  
Provide support to the Incident Commander in keeping track of what other agencies are doing.  
RECOVERY:  
Continue to assist with liaison and coordination post-earthquake operations as needed, even after the CC is deactivated.
