Primary
Responsibilities:

  • Manages and Tracks all requests for Mutual Aid at the Cuyamaca Campus
  • Handles all logistics for Cuyamaca Campus mutual aid resources both sent and received

Support
Responsibilities:

  • Supports the District Liaison with determining if requests for mutual aid can be filled by Cuyamaca resources
  • Support Operations involving mutual aid resources
  • Supports the District’s EOC FEMA/OES documentation and application process with information regarding mutual aid resources received and provided

Supplies:

Normal supplies, may need to keep lists of names, SS# and emergency contact numbers for Cuyamaca staff sent out to other locations to work

 

PROCEDURES

TIME/DATE

EMERGENCY RESPONSE:  

Report to the CC. Immediately get a report on emergency conditions and situations.

 

Maintain contact with the Incident Commander and Resources and Logistics Team Leader.

 

Coordinate all CC staff to determine how many people from the Cuyamaca campus are available for mutual aid. If there are no available resources from Cuyamaca to be sent to other agencies, advise the Incident Commander.

 

If there are Cuyamaca Campus resources (staff and equipment) that are available for mutual aid, plan for the activation of a mutual aid team, including:

  • Team Leader
  • Communications Equipment
  • Cash/Credit or other money support arrangements
  • Travel or Vehicles
  • Equipment, equipment support (fuel and/or power) and trained operators
 

If a request for mutual aid is received, verify the following:

  • Agency Requesting Mutual Aid
  • Site Contact
  • Location
  • Type of Mutual Aid Requested
  • Equipment
  • Personnel
  • Support
  • Facilities
  • Needed when, where and until what time
 

If Cuyamaca Campus is requesting mutual aid, provide the following information:

  • Site Contact
  • Location
  • Type of Mutual Aid Requested
  • Equipment
  • Personnel
  • Support
  • Facilities
  • Needed when, where and until what time
 
Provide for the logistics and keep track of Cuyamaca Campus resources provided to other agencies, provide emergency contact numbers and assist with messages and other issues for teams sent out of San Diego County.  
Regard mutual aid teams sent to the Cuyamaca Campus as employees. Provide support for food, water and other personnel support. Provide a 24-hour contact number in case of emergencies.  
RECOVERY:  
Release mutual aid resources first. Keep complete documentation of all mutual aid personnel and equipment used on the Cuyamaca Campus  
Coordinate labor records, reimbursements and payroll issues for Cuyamaca staff who worked on mutual aid teams at other sites. Provide a summary of costs, if requested
