REQUIREMENT I.F. CORRECTIONS OF UNSAFE ACTIONS, CONDITIONS, AND HAZARDS
Include methods and/or procedures for correcting unsafe or unhealthy conditions, work practices, and work procedures in a timely manner based on the severity of the hazard:
Every employee is directed to immediately report to their immediate supervisor any condition, situation, or procedure which could result in physical injury or property damage. Any report of this nature will be forwarded immediately to the District Safety Officer for review and appropriate corrective action. The reports may be made anonymously, if desired.
The District will document what methods and/or procedures have been developed to ensure that unsafe actions and conditions have been corrected in a timely manner based on the severity of the hazard.
All hazards found during inspections and those identified by verbal or written reports shall be corrected in a timely manner. If budgetary restrictions will delay the correction of a hazard, intermediate steps shall be taken to modify or reduce the risk, or eliminate student and employee contact with the hazard.
Priorities for correction of hazards will be based on severity of hazards and protection of employees when imminent hazard exists.
