STAFF TRAINING
Under the supervision of the District Safety Officer, all district employees will be provided appropriate inservice training. Each department will ensure that its employees are properly trained and will maintain records regarding the training provided each employee.
Training Topics Training topics will include general safety requirements applicable to all employees, and specific practices necessary to safety perform individual job functions.

Performance of Training College Presidents will be responsible for training college site personnel. District department heads will be responsible for training district personnel regardless of job site location.

The District Risk Manager will maintain a library of training materials for use in all training function, including materials available from:
Training Reporting Upon completion of each training session, a written report, using the District Safety Training Report form, will be completed and forwarded to the District Risk Manager. The District Risk Manager will maintain a districtwide training schedule and a file for all completed District Safety Training Reports. The District Safety Officer will report to the Chancellor on the status of each department's and college's training schedule at least once annually.
