The 1098T form was provided to you and the IRS to verify your enrollment during calendar year 2008 at the Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District.
Box #1 on your 1098T is blank because the IRS does not require it to be completed. It is your responsibility to gather your receipts, cancelled checks or credit card statements to determine your personal expenses that may qualify you for the Hope/Lifetime Learning Tax Credits. Box #2 on your 1098T is the total amount billed for qualified tuition and related expenses. You may call College Cashiering with questions regarding the payments the District received from you during 2008. Grossmont College Cashier (619) 644-7660, Cuyamaca College Cashier (619) 660-4256.
