A fast way to get your Financial Aid or College Refund.

All Grossmont and Cuyamaca College students now have the option of getting financial aid awards and college refunds faster than a check. Select how you would like to receive your funds:

  • Direct deposit to a checking or savings account. Funds generally post in 3-5 business days.
  • The GCCCD CashCard, a Money Network Enabled Master Card. Funds are delivered the same day.

CashCard Features include:

  • Delivers fast and secure access to your financial aid balance or refund. You don’t have to worry about losing a check or waiting around for the funds to be transferred electronically to your bank account.
  • A free account with no minimum balance or monthly fees.
  • The account, with your authorization, can be reloaded by the college, friends, family – even your employer.
  • Convenient ATM access through 55,000 ATMs nationwide
  • Can be used everywhere that Debit MasterCard is accepted.
  • Funds are FDIC insured to protect against fraud.

  3. When asked for identity verification, enter:
  • Your 7-digit student ID
  • Your date of birth (MM/DD/YYYY)
  • Your email address on file at Admissions and Records

   4. Follow the rest of the directions on the website as you are walked through the process.


After receiving your Cash Card, you may access your GCCCD Cash Card account by visiting It’s a great way to manage your account and alerts.

Activate your service – Before you can start using your card to access your funds, you must activate the service by calling 1-800-822-4283 and creating a new PIN.(Do not share your PIN with anyone.)

Lost or stolen – Report a lost or stolen card immediately so that a new one can be delivered to you promptly.

Locate an ATM – Search and find locations near you where you can reload your card or withdraw cash.
