Grossmont College to Host 47th Annual Career Expo and Job Fair on October 14

EL CAJON, CA—On October 14, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., employers from around the region will attend Grossmont College's 47th Annual Career Expo and Job Fair, being held in the Main Quad. Over 800 jobseekers including students, alumni, employees, and community members are expected to attend the free event where they can meet with over 100 prospective employers to discuss job opportunities, benefits, and career growth options.  

 

The event will include networking opportunities, translation services, resume and cover letter assistance, professional attire review, and more resources. Attendees can register for a variety of interview skills workshops that will help prospective talent feel more confident before meeting with employers. Additionally, a professional photographer will be available to take free headshots for attendees.

 

In addition to the wide range of employer engagement opportunities, this year’s Career Expo will spotlight Grossmont College’s new Artificial Intelligence Program, which will include providing information on courses available as well as an opportunity to meet advisory board employers. This advance preview of the new academic program underscores Grossmont College’s commitment to preparing students for emerging industries in the region.

 

Companies and organizations registered to attend the Career Expo include Cajon Valley Union High School District, California Coast Credit Union, the San Diego Police Department, Evans Hotels, the San Diego County Regional Airport, the Santee School District, Panda Restaurants, and SAY San Diego. The Career Expo is sponsored by Grossmont College, GoldenCare, Fastenal, and the San Diego Workforce Partnership.

 

The event is free and open to the public. Parking will be available in Parking Lot #7.
