Full-time in Fall and NOT awarded The Promise -
Spring Eligibility
Full-time students in the Fall (at least 12 units*) who are CA residents or AB540 eligible, NOT awarded The Promise, may be eligible in the following Spring semester. *Students with disabilities may contact Disability Services at Grossmont College or Cuyamaca College regarding potentially receiving a unit accommodation for a reduced course load.
Please review and complete the below requirements by the Spring deadline, to be awarded The Promise in the Spring semester.
When The Promise Notifies of Award
Students will receive an award determination, via email, about four (4) weeks after the semester begins.
How & When The Promise Pays
Students need to pay tuition and mandatory fees at registration.
The Promise will automatically reimburse students awarded the Promise about four (4) weeks after the semester begins.
Full-time and 2.0 GPA in 1st year, NOT awarded The Promise - 2nd Year Only Eligibility
CA residents (or AB540 eligible) who were enrolled full-time (at least 12 units*) and maintained a cumulative 2.0 GPA in the first year, but were not awarded The Promise, may be eligible for the 2nd Year Only benefit of The Promise. *Students with disabilities may contact Disability Services at Grossmont College or Cuyamaca College regarding potentially receiving a unit accommodation for a reduced course load.
Please review the requirements below, which must be completed by the Fall deadline, to be awarded The Promise in the Fall of the 2nd year.
