New Student Requirements

Complete the 2 requirements below by the semester deadline.

1. Students must be enrolled in at least 12 units on the semester deadline. 

   Students with disabilities may contact Disability Services at Grossmont College or Cuyamaca College regarding potentially receiving a unit accommodation for a reduced course load.

2. Students must complete a Financial Aid Application. Students do NOT need to qualify for Financial Aid.

   FAFSA (U.S. citizens or eligible noncitizens) How-to Video or

   CA Dream Act (Eligible undocumented students) How-to Video 

 

Fall to Spring Requirements

Students must maintain full-time enrollment in each semester to remain eligible for The Promise. Students who drop below 12 units will no longer be eligible for the Grossmont-Cuyamaca College Promise.

 

2nd Year Requirements

First Year:

1. Complete full-time status (12 units) 
2. Maintain 2.0 cumulative GPA

2nd Year: By Fall semester deadline

1. Enroll full-time (12 units) 
2.
