2nd Year Eligibility

 

We want all of our Promise students to continue to receive FREE tuition and mandatory fees next year!  Students who maintained full-time enrollment and a cumulative 2.0 GPA are eligible to persist for review of the  2nd Year requirements of the Grossmont-Cuyamaca College Promise. Please review and complete the requirements below, by the semester deadline, to be awarded the Promise.

 

2nd Year PERSISTENCE Requirements - Completed in First Year

Students must meet the below two (2) requirements in the Spring semester to be eligible for review of the completion of the 2nd Year requirements to be awarded the Promise.

  1. Complete 12 units in the Spring semester. 

  2. A cumulative 2.0 GPA, or higher, in the first year.

2nd Year ELIGIBILITY Requirements - Completed before Fall of 2nd Year

Students who maintained full-time enrollment and a cumulative 2.0 GPA, must complete the two (2) requirements below by the semester deadline to be awarded the Promise in the Fall semester of their 2nd Year.

  1. Enroll in at least 12 units.
  2. Complete a NEW Financial Aid Application for the new academic year.                                                  FAFSA (How-to Video) or CA Dream Act Application (How-to Video)
