District Executive Council (DEC)
Charge
The District Executive Council (DEC) serves in an advisory capacity to the Chancellor. DEC provides guidance on District policy development, governance matters, and issues referred by the colleges, District Services, or standing councils and committees. Additionally, DEC reviews and makes recommendations on items for inclusion on the Governing Board meeting docket.

Meeting Frequency
The Monday before each Board meeting, or the preceding Friday if Monday is a holiday.
Time: 1:00 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Location: Alternates between Cuyamaca College (Student Center, I-209) and Grossmont College (Building 60, Griffin Gate).
