- MOST students can attend college for FREE. English and high school diploma classes
at Adult Education are also free. Adult Ed's career programs are low cost – and students
may qualify for discounts or grants to cover the cost of classes, textbooks, or other
                           supplies.

- How do I pay for college?

                        - The federal FAFSA or state DACA applications drive most financial aid. There are also
scholarships, cash grants, and fee waivers available. Financial aid can also help
you pay for books and supplies. You can apply at any time!

- Are evening and online classes available?

                        - Yes! Many classes are offered in the evenings, online, or hybrid to accommodate the
                           needs of working students.

- How do I enroll?

                        - To attend a community college, you must enroll through the state application CCCApply.
Adult Ed. has its own enrollment forms. Our staff can assist you through this process
                           from beginning to end.

- What is the class schedule?

                        - College semesters last 16 weeks and start in Fall or Spring. We also offer 8-week
condensed classes at the start and middle of each semester.

- How much time do I need to commit?

                        - A full load of college classes (4 classes, 12 units) is like a full-time job, and
will take 30-40 hours of time per week. Enrolling part-time can reduce this load,
but it will take longer to complete a program.

- What level of English do I need?

                        - No English level is required for most classes, but approximately 4 semesters of English
prepare most students for college-level classes.
