Sustainability

The Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District manages its primary recycling operations from its warehouses, which serve as the central hubs. The District's Recycling Program is responsible for developing, coordinating, and administering sustainable waste management initiatives and advising on related policies. Specifically, the Facilities department handles the collection of recyclables, while the Warehouse department oversees the storage, disposal, logistics, and regulation of services to ensure compliance with all city and state ordinances.

• PaintCare Inc. non-profit 501(c)(3) is a program of the American Coatings Association (ACA)
• Limit: 20 gallons per visit. Accepts latex and oil-based house paint, stains and varnish in containers up to 5 gallons in size. No aerosols (spray paint or other spray products), containers without original labels, or containers that are leaking/ empty/ rusted.
