The following local, state and national resources are available to assist students and employees.  We encourage everyone in need to reach out for help. 

Medical Emergency

If you or someone you know is experiencing a medical emergency or is in imminent danger, call 911.  

Call 211 to speak to someone confidentially locally 24/7 or there are also dedicated helplines below.

California Youth Crisis - (800) 843-5200.  The California Youth Crisis line is available for youth (ages 12-24), and their families, for crisis assistance on their free 24-hour hotline with trained staff and volunteer counselors. 

Crisis Text Line - Text “Home” to 741741.  The Crisis Text Line is a free resource available 24/7 to help you connect with a crisis counselor.

National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI) - (800) 950-6264.  NAMI provides free confidential 24/7 text support from a trained counselor by texting "HOME" to 741741 or go online (www.nami.org/help) to chat with a trained volunteer.
