Student Links and Forms

 

In order for students to receive credit by examination (up to 12 units), they must:

  • Create an OpenCCC account for the desired college:   Grossmont or Cuyamaca. If students do not provide their Social Security Number when applying, or are a Dream Act/AB540 student, they will need to visit one of the college admissions offices with their parent or guardian and bring identification in order to obtain their GCCCD ID Number
    • Follow Steps Cards located at the top of the OpenCCC page
    • Verify with ID.me or verify later by opting out of ID.me
    • Complete ‘New Application’ on MYApply by clicking on Apply Now!
    • Wait 24-48 hours for your account to be established
  • Earn an “A” or “B” in the course and an “A” or “B” on the final examination and/or final project
  • Complete a “Student Petition for Credit by Examination” form within twelve months of course completion.

Please note the articulated course cannot be repeated or removed from transcript.  College units and grade earned will be posted to the student's PERMANENT college academic transcript.
