Office of the Governing Board

The staff in the Office of the Governing Board provides direct administrative and logistical support to the District's elected trustees. We are committed to supporting the Board's governance and oversight responsibilities, ensuring that all processes are transparent, accessible, and efficient for the public we serve.
 
Our office is the primary point of contact for Board-related inquiries and is responsible for:
  • Governing Board Meetings: Managing all logistics for public Board meetings, including the development of agendas, public notifications, preparation of meeting materials, and maintaining the official record of minutes.
  • Board Policies & Procedures: Assisting the Board with the stewardship of District policy by managing and providing public access to all Board Policies and Administrative Procedures.
  • Public & College Communication: Acting as the central point of contact for the Governing Board and facilitating communication between the trustees, the Chancellor, our colleges, and the community.
  • Trustee Support: Providing comprehensive administrative support to the members of the Governing Board to help them effectively fulfill their duties.
